Really enjoyed our stay ,very good location for beach and town.Car parking good and room was very nice and no noise in the evening............all in all we will be back. The hotel is changing its name and franchise I just hope it keeps up to the same standards and doesn't go downhill.
Great location, value for money, nice sea view, modern and comfortable room, good Wi-Fi connection, in summary we really enjoyed the hotel. I recommend also the dinner at the restaurant.
The hotel had plenty of secure parking. My room was clean and very spacious. The bed was comfortable and we had a lovely view of the sea.
Only parts of the hotel have been updated and work is ongoing. The corridor to the main restaurant badly needs updating it was like going into a residential home. The staff in the restaurant need to be more organised, They left tables uncleared , and I saw a party of two carers and their disabled charges shown to a table at the back of the restaurant when in fact a table should have been cleared to enable them to walk easily to the breakfast bar. The lighting in the bedroom is awful.
Nice large bedroom, reasonable size bathroom, good parking area, extremely convenient for the shops and theatre, a generous breakfast.
For those staying in on an evening you have to be prepared for pretty loud music until about 10-30pm. Join in or go out is the answer.
Is a old hotel with big rooms, you have a table 2 chairs, plus a desk in front of the mirror and other chair there. Plus the bathroom had bathtub. The location is great. I will probably stay there again. For the money that I paid was the best option, plus full English breakfast included in the price.
pleasant no hastle stay
The breakfast was very nice and we had till 10am to go down for breakfast on the Sunday morning. Lovely buffet style full english with a variety of fruit and cereal too.
We booked a double room and specifically asked for a double bed and not two twin beds, yet our room ( which was expensive ) had a double headboard attached to the wall with two twin beds pushed together? The room also desperately needed redecorating and not just because the decor was very dated but the wallpaper was ripped in several places and the window ledge was coming away from the wall. The beds were also torn and very tatty indeed.
the staff were friendly, the hotel was clean&well located for beach, shops & theatre,in our room the bed size could be bigger in comparison to other hotels weve stayed at.although this was the day before the official take over we were not inconvienenced in any way.woould stay here again
Quite good position, close to the seaside/pier and at a walking distance from main attractions/bar/restaurants
Staff - not really the most friendly ... Amongst others, e.g. I requested a king size mattress and I got two single ones adjacent, one of which was old and too soft. When I told the staff they just replied "I will refer", without taking action. More, I requested to check whether there was a pharmacy open in the proximity of the hotel - they said there was no need to check on line and refer me to a Boots ... that was closed ... More, I inquired about using the swimming pool (meant to be one of the hotel facilities and surely one of the most appealing when I booked) and I was prohibited to do so because of a wedding party to take place on the day ...
The friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble Breakfast was good The reception and bar areas were spacious and comfortable The sea view room was all we expected 224 it was spacious and comfortable We would definitely return again
The wi fi reception was very poor
We stayed in the summer and wanted to return for our Wedding Anniversary as we had such a lovely stay in August. It was so nice that one of the team recognised us and stopped to talk to us. Thank you, to the team at Days Hotel for making us both feel welcome and we will definitely be returning next year.
Staff very pleasant and hotel very clean and excellent location.
Had booked seaview room but on arrival was allocated room at rear of hotel. Although moved us without problems and had seaview room was small and still not as advertised on web site. Food in restaurant was very ordinary and room really a function room rather than a restaurant. When asked front desk to book us a table at local restaurant that hotel has an arrangemet with we were asked if we could book ourselves as they could not get through on the phone - not the service we would have expected.
In an excellent location and easy to get to beach or town on foot. Good parking. Good breakfast with excellent service. Friendly staff who were smartly dressed.
People being allowed to smoke directly outside the main entrance so you had to fight your way through the fug to get in/out. Plenty of terraces available so maybe some big ashtrays would discourage this!
Really nice helpful, polite, friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Comfy clean room
Need to move pigeons off gutter. There is an anti bird wire thing but its got gaps. The sit above the window of my room making pigeon noises at 6am lol Maybe a bit expensive for the weekend.
Lovely big room with sea view. Nice clean and modern bathroom with decent shower. Breakfast was good. Location of hotel was perfect with great sea views.
Terrible, uncomfortable mattress. Thin with prominent springs. Slept badly and woke with bad back. Management need to invest in some reasonable mattresses, then hotel would be perfect.
